Unlike coal or natural gas plants, Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facilities must generate stable power from a highly inconsistent fuel source. Utilizing specialized near-infrared (NIR) sensors to penetrate combustion smoke, and protected by continuous vortex air-purging, our systems deliver clear, uninterrupted video while resisting chemical corrosion and slagging.

Complete combustion is essential for minimizing toxic emissions and maximizing energy recovery. Our trash combustor cameras provide a clear view of the fuel bed as it travels across the grate, allowing operators to monitor the drying, ignition, and burnout zones to prevent unburned refuse from falling into the ash pit.
Charging Hoppers & Feed Chutes
Bridging and blockages in the refuse feed chute can instantly destabilize boiler operation. Syn-Fab’s ruggedized process cameras monitor the charging hoppers in real-time, alerting operators to bridging events so they can be cleared safely and quickly before impacting steam flow.
Tipping Halls & Refuse Cranes
Efficient combustion starts in the bunker. Crane operators need clear visibility to properly mix wet and dry waste before feeding the hoppers. Syn-Fab provides heavy-duty, dust-resistant cameras for the tipping hall, ensuring safe truck offloading and optimized fuel management.
